The Bulleh Shah Project:
In 2005, Packages Limited started a new pulp and
paper mill project in Kasur located 50 km south
of Lahore. The greenfield site spread on 42
hectares is known as Bulleh Shah Paper Mill
coined after a famous Pakistani poet from this
region.
The greenfield site comprises of two modern
paper machines PM6 and PM7 that will enable us
to increase our paper and paperboard production
from 100,000 to 300,000 tones per year.
PM6 already in operation since 2007 manufactures
container board.
PM7 which is expected to start production
by end of 20008 is a completely rebuilt 4.5m
Voith machine shall produce writing printing
paper.
In addition to the paper machines, there is a
modern pulp mill, coater and a corrugators plant
installed at the Greenfield site as well.
