Situated in the beautiful wallet city and the mesmerizing Mubarik Haveli, Naqsh school of arts was established in 2003 which was funded by Babar Ali Foundation. It brings together the artists who are less privileged but are filled with talent. Its primary purpose is to preserve the traditional skills of Pakistan in drawing, painting, ceramics and calligraphy. It is for all those artists who want to explore their talent side rather than mainstream education. There is no age limit when it comes to Naqsh school of arts because all they look for is someone who has an artist in them or are exploring to find one in them. As their motto ‘PRESERVE FOR POSTERITY’, Naqsh seeks to preserve traditional arts of calligraphy, miniature painting and naqashi ( the art of ‘arabesque’).
