World Food Safety Day

At Packages Group, we recognize the vital importance of food safety in our industry. Celebrated annually on June 7th since 2019, World Food Safety Day is a reminder to be prepared for any food safety challenges, big or small. This year’s theme emphasizes readiness and proactive measures.

From June 10th to 14th, Packages Group marked this occasion with a series of activities and initiatives including awareness sessions to educate staff and stakeholders on food safety protocols and the importance of preventing foodborne illnesses, rigorous food audits to ensure compliance with food safety standards, and identify areas for improvement, and the implementation of food fraud plans to detect and prevent food fraud, ensuring the integrity of our food supply chain.

Additionally, we engaged our customers through activities and communications to align our practices with their requirements and various food safety standards.

These efforts highlight our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety in the manufacturing of our packaging and related products. We were delighted to have participation from numerous companies, including BSP, PCL, Hoechst, DIC, Omya Pacll, PREPL, and PLL.

Let’s continue to prioritize food safety every day, not just on World Food Safety Day!
