The session covered ESG fundamentals and the evolving regulatory landscape, including IFRS S1 requirements on governance, strategy, risk management, and ESG metrics, as well as SASB standards for the pulp and paper sector. IFRS S2 was discussed with a focus on the GHG Protocol, organizational boundaries, and Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
