Awareness sessions on Food Loss and Waste were conducted at Packages Group
As September comes to a close, Packages Group reflects on its commitment to the International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste, engaging employees across SPL, BSP OmyaPack, HPL, and DIC in awareness sessions on this issue. With 13.2% of food lost between harvest and retail and 19% of waste in households and food services, the need for action is urgent, as food waste not only harms the environment but also exacerbates climate change and food insecurity.
