On the observance of International Human Rights Day, Packages Group reaffirmed its commitment to promoting dignity, respect, and safety at the workplace as part of its annual Human Rights awareness campaign, aligned with SDG 8: Decent Work & Economic Growth, SDG 5: Gender Equality, and SDG 16: Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions.
Recognizing the critical role played by security teams as frontline representatives of the organization, specialized training sessions were conducted for 38 security guards from Kasur. The sessions focused on international human rights standards, prevention of sexual harassment, and adherence to the Group’s Code of Conduct.
Key areas covered included ethical behavior, confidentiality, privacy, non-discrimination, and fair and respectful treatment, core principles essential to the responsibilities of security personnel and to fostering a safe, inclusive, and rights-respecting work environment.
