On 25th April 2024, a group of 130 enthusiastic volunteers from all over the Packages Group including Tri-pack Films Ltd, IGI, Bulleh Shah Packaging, DIC Pakistan, Hoechst Pakistan Limited, Packages Convertors Limited and Packages Limited gathered together at the shores of Clifton beach, Karachi in observance of World Earth Day to embark on the mission of a beach clean-up drive.
As the morning tide gently rolled in, volunteers armed with gloves, bags, and unwavering determination scattered across the coastline. Each piece of litter they collected was a testament to our collective responsibility towards environmental sustainability.
Cigarette butts, plastic bottles, and stray wrappers were meticulously gathered in the trash bags, emphasizing the urgency of addressing our global plastic pollution crisis.
Amidst the toil and sweat, a sense of camaraderie blossomed among them bonding individuals from diverse backgrounds under a common purpose – to nurture and protect our precious blue oceans.
As the volunteers bid farewell to the shore, they not only left behind their footprints in the sand but a legacy of care, compassion, and commitment to preserving our planet for generations to come.
