Packages Group, in collaboration with Transparent Hands
Packages Group, in collaboration with Transparent Hands, has launched the first phase of the Hepatitis-Free Kasur initiative, aligned with SDG 3: Good Health & Well-Being and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
Building on insights from our Sehat Mobile program and with the support of Packages Foundation, the initiative focuses on awareness, prevention, and access to care for communities near the BSP Kasur mill. The program began with targeted awareness sessions involving doctors and community barbers, key frontline stakeholders in preventing hepatitis transmission.
Over a 9-month period (January–September 2026), Phase 1 aims to provide free screening to 20,000 people, vaccination to 2,000, and free treatment to 400 diagnosed patients, taking a data-driven step toward healthier communities.
